Okay, so I missed a few days of blogging, actually about three months, but who is counting?? This week I took pictures of some antiques that my grandmother passed down. One of which is an old camera, My grandmother loved photography as much as I do, she even had her own dark room back in the 1940's. I love digital photography and I can't even imagine having to develop my own photos, although it is something I would like to learn in time. It will be Easter weekend tomorrow so I also uploaded a picture or three of a bunny and a spring bouquet my mother made. I love the Spring colors, so bright and full of life. I hope to upload more flower photos this Spring, just waiting for them to bloom. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

This is my favorite snack food, a mixture of tropical fruit and cottage cheese. It's healthy and delicious too! This 365 project is proving to be more of a challenge than I expected. Its amazing how difficult it is to find something to photograph that you've never photographed before!
Today was a busy day with getting ready for the GA trip, coming up quickly, and my son going back to school tomorrow. It seems Christmas break gets shorter and shorter every year, in actuality it doesn't, but it goes by too quickly. I am so happy this is my son's senior year, yay! Now I get to buy graduation pics and invitations and all that fun stuff. I cant believe I have been out of school since 1990, wow, I feel old, yet it seems like only yesterday at the same time.
Tomorrow I may take a pic relating to a baby or pregnancy. My daughter is expecting and we are enjoying shopping for layette sets and maternity clothes. I am so excited to finally become a grandma! Just so long as I don't look like one lol !

This is Callie, he is my son's cat. Callie was adopted by our family when he was a baby, about 8 years ago. He is the most affectionate cat we have ever had. He likes to lick your earlobes, even stranger's earlobes! Some people get a little freaked out by that. LOL. He also likes to give hugs. Most Tom cats are independent and don't care to snuggle and cuddle, but not Callie, he is one of a kind!
I didn't get to do a whole lot of traveling today, I stayed close to home, it is cloudy and trying to rain today. I think they were very hopeful naming Florida the Sunshine state! It rains more than its sunny!
Friday through Monday I will be traveling to Dallas, GA and possibly parts of TN. Looking forward to some heavy duty photography during those days!

Today is the first day of my 365 Project. I spent the day in Alabama, near Crossroads. The picture you see of the long road now leads to my aunt and uncles house, but back when I was a child it went to my grandmother's house, where I spent a lot of my time. It is a little farming town back in the woods and it carries a lot of great memories. My mother grew up there and my grandmother lived there until her last days. The puppies and the black lab belong to my aunt and uncle. Trip, the black lab, was my instant friend and followed me on my walk to shoot some photos. It was a gloomy day, halfway raining, but that made for an even more amazing shot of the wet road through the trees. When I was a child, the road was dirt, and every time it rained the road turned to mud. My cousins and I spent many days walking that road and making dirt pies. The puppies, well, who can help but take pics of puppies? They are way too adorable to miss out on!
This is my first 365 Project, hopefully it will be fun for me, as well as for you. I hope you enjoy my journey through 2015!
